When it comes to beauty trends, nothing is ever really out. That being said, there are looks that naturally come and go, especially when it is hair color. When you see, all of sudden, your friends, favorite influencers, celebrities are getting similar shades, it means a trend is born.

We are officially right in the middle of 2019, which means the year is not so new anymore and your hair color either. Let’s find out top 10 trending color to shake up your look. We could say that all of them are really good and you will have a hard time to select one. Your new hair-color vibe for 2019 is right ahead. You'll probably want to bookmark this.

1. Living Coral Hair

“Living Coral” is Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2019, so it is reasonable that you are constantly seeing it everywhere. It is a warm, peachy orange tone that is meant to brighten our moods and remind us of the joy of nature. This shade of color is way more muted than its classic megawatt color, which makes it look almost natural. Sophia Hilton, founder of Not Another Salon, reckons the color of the year is the best way for blondes to change up their color without wrecking their strands for a passing trend. Sophia explains “Unlike cooler tones like blue, green and purple, warmer tones, in the pink family, wash out well and don’t stain the hair, if you are fancying a quick refresh, no strings attached, this Pantone Color is the one to opt for.” If you are not a natural blonde, you will need to bleach your hair to get this copper-coral shade.

2. Glitch Hair

If you like futuristic style, you must try this hair color as soon as possible. The look is the combination of the rainbow colors, your hair will look like being glitching.

3. Lilac Hair

The appearance of  “lilac hair” has been up over 1077% on Pinterest and you can find over 100,000 photos across Instagram showing variations ranging from lavender and dusky periwinkle to more saturated amethyst. Away from the dark hues and bold colors, a lilac hair color is a lighter, pastel-like shade of purple, often having silvery tones in it. This color hair was starting to gain speed at the end of 2018 and it is officially in full force for 2019.

It is no surprise, then, that some of the biggest stars have already taken the color for a whirl in 2019. Ahead of her Pepsi commercial debut during the 2019 Super Bowl, Cardi B rocked a multi-tonal lilac pixie-cut wig that would make My Little Pony proud. Also on trend was Lady Gaga, who kicked off her Enigma Las Vegas residency concert with her hair dyed dusty mauve.

However, maintaining lilac hair can be difficult as fading happens quickly and it can become very blue. The key to keeping it fresh is making sure you have a good tone in the first place that you can top up easily.

4. Chestnut Brown and Gold Hair

The chestnut color gets a slight upgrade this year, thanks to light-brown highlights. Miranda Kerr has already jumped on the trend, adding dimension to her iconic brunette hair with sleek, golden highlights. The best part about this color is that it's so easy to maintain—especially if you're starting with a brown base.

5. Inky Black Hair

This rich, inky-black is all about shine – the glossier, the better. Stephanie Brown, master colorist at the Eddie Arthur Salon, says “The 2019 twist on inky black hair is rich and deep with a hint of blue”. Brown also notes that “This shade goes very well with the glass hair trend because the black will give the shine you want for the style," she says. "This color works well on darker and neutral skin tones."

The bluish-black hair color is easiest to achieve on those who have slightly lighter hair colors. If you have dark brown or black hair, you’ll need to lighten your strands before adding the dark, cool-tinted dye to score the exact inky allure. When it comes to skin tone, fair, cool undertones rock the look best, especially if light blue, green, or gray eyes are part of the equation.

A good example of this shade is Dua Lipa’s signature look as it is a bit more low-maintenance and chic.

6. Ash Gray Hair

If you want to have dark color hair but don’t want to commit to a full-on black look, ash gray is a perfect choice for you. The darkest sections will be along your roots, with a light, moody gray toward your ends.

7. Pastel Pink Hair

Of all the bright hair colors that have gotten trendy in the past few years, nothing has the staying power for the versatility of pastel pink hair. It is flattering to most skin tones, whether you’re a bright hair color veteran or virgin, pink tresses are definitely having a moment in 2019 and it is an awesome time for you to try the trend.

8. Baby Blonde Hair

If you're looking to switch up your platinum hair, icy blonde is your calling card. The inspiration behind this shade is the sun-brightened, natural streaks you'd find on surfers or little kids. However, if you want to avoid getting a buzz cut, you need to do it right. “Discuss with your hairstylist what you want - how blonde you want to go and whether you're willing to change the shape of your hair,” says Nicola Clarke – Creative Color Director, “Bleach damages your hair so a lot of the time you might need to cut a decent amount of hair off to keep it looking healthy.”

It's all about your hair history as well, “How blonde your hair looks after it's bleached all depends on what you've done to your hair in the past three years”, says Nicola.

9. Chocolate Brown and Copper Hair

Following 2018’s obsession with rich, fiery colors, we're already seeing a major spike in more subtle copper tones this year. Combine chocolate brown with allover copper highlights for a look that’s equal parts low-key and very pretty.

10. Strawberry Honey Hair

The color is the perfect middle ground between golden blonde and vibrant copper. If you want the color that is a little red but not completely fire-engine, this creamy shade is the subtle choice for you.

You can also boost your hair look with hair extensions. APO Hair – a Vietnamese hair extensions brand can help you. With many extensions products in a variety of color and length levels from 8 inches to 24 inches hair extensions, you are spoilt for choice to make your hairstyle stunning and glamorous.
